Still feeling blessed by the wonderful word that was delivered through Pastor Kenny Boone at Bible Study on Wednesday, December 4th 2019. He asked us what the most important responsibility we had as Christians was- and we agreed that it was our obedience. We discussed discipline, changing our old ways to fit the new ways, and how that takes practice and training in order to do that. The world causes us to negotiate our obedience! Furthermore, we touched on how too often, we mix our own theories with God’s Word. We just need to say what God says! The next time you are asked your opinion about something-whether it’s political, religious, something about parenting, etc.- stop thinking in the flesh and respond in the spirit and you will find yourself saying what God says, what the Word says. At that point, you are evangelizing, you are spreading the Good News, just by walking in obedience.

“Risky Faith”- we must be able to take risks in our faith walk. We referenced Daniel: his obedience in worship and prayer was risky but with God, it rendered pure favor! “He kept his routine! Understanding his consequences, he took a risk which produced a result of God’s power.”
