The Sunday before Christmas and the Seeds of Grace

I must preface this post with some of the incredible words that God breathed into Pastor George on Sunday, December 22nd. We were faced with the question of -

Do you have an anchor?
— Pastor George Chavis

Pastor preceded to explain that often “you see the boat, but you don’t see the anchor.” It’s not what rises to the surface that holds us together, it’s what is buried deep down below the surface, supernaturally gripping us and holding us down, tried and true. For me, that anchor is and can only be Jesus. My anchor may be tugged on and momentarily shaken but nothing can separate this vessel from that anchor so long as I stay strong and upright to the Word of God, no matter the storm, no matter the circumstances.

What a Word, what a wonderful Word to have a Selah moment before we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ. There is no substance to our celebration if our anchor is not in Him. Amen!

God is moving the Seeds of Grace marvelously! Minister Sylvia Boone hosted a Choir Christmas Cookie along with sister Octavia and as always, they had so much fun! The children baked cookies, decorated them, and ate them (rightfully so!)! Meanwhile, they also had a chance to prepare and practice for the Christmas Eve Service that we had on Tuesday where the Seeds of Grace blessed us in song, in acting, and in a sweet message of God’s faith and mercy where a homeless man was faithfully reunited with his long lost son. It’s a message we can all relate to as far as being once lost and now found with our heavenly Father. And what a time of the year to ponder such a thought than during the celebration and birth of Jesus, the Son of God. I am so thankful to be in the family of God’s sons and daughters! Here are some photos from the Choir Christmas Cookie night! Take a look at them, smile and enjoy!

God Bless you with the faithful love of Christ, today and forever!
