A New Wineskin: a reflection

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.
— Matthew 9:17

After a powerful sermon from Pastor George about living the Christian life deliberately and on purpose, and reestablishing leadership roles and ministries this weekend, Greater Grace Ministries has the feel of new wineskin. We want to be putting our efforts into a fresh, new page within the body of Christ- not our old ways and old minds. We are not called to be perfect, we serve a God that makes up for everything we are not. We are often given opportunities to have a paradigm shift and self-examine our ways. Everyday is an opportunity to make the choice of whether or not to serve God or our flesh, or the world, or our enemy. Thank God for the relentless love and pursuit He has for us! We will be updating our website and blog more often, and praying that each time we do, it renders a new wineskin for you too.

Sermon reference: Please check out "The Deliberate Life" from 7/15/18 and listen to Pastor George discuss the deliberate life  displayed through Daniel's testimony with King Nebuchadnezzar.
